Please include your iPhone model, iOS version and, if your question is about a specific case, the settlement name.

Getting started

What does Claim do?

Claim finds open class action settlements you may qualify for, explains each one in plain English, shows the published payout, deadline and proof rules, and opens the official claim form. You file the claim yourself, for free, on the settlement's official website.

How does Claim know which settlements fit me?

From your answers. During setup you answer a few yes-or-no questions about brands you've used, and you can edit them any time in Profile › Brands I use. Settlements for brands you said yes to go to To claim. Others appear in Could these be you?, where you tap That's me, Not me or Not sure.

Is Claim free?

Yes. Checking what you qualify for is free, and filing on an official settlement website is always free. Claim never takes any part of your payment. Claim Pro is an optional subscription for deadline reminders, saving and tracking every claim, and keeping proof of purchase.

Is Claim a law firm?

No. Claim is an independent app that organizes public settlement information. It doesn't file claims for you, doesn't give legal or tax advice, and isn't affiliated with any court, administrator or company.

Claims

Did my claim go through?

Claim doesn't receive or submit your claim. Look for a confirmation email or confirmation number from the settlement administrator. Each settlement page in Claim links to the official site, where most administrators have a "Check claim status" page.

How do I mark a claim as filed?

When you come back from the official site, Claim asks "Did you finish filing?". Tap Yes, I filed and add the confirmation number if you have one. If you filed before using Claim, open the settlement and tap I already filed.

I got paid. How do I record it?

Open the filed claim and tap I got paid, then enter the amount. It moves to Paid in My claims and counts in your wallet. If a claim was rejected, tap Claim denied. You can undo either one.

Where do I find my notice ID or PIN?

Search your email (and spam) and your mail for the settlement or company name. The notice usually shows a Claim ID or PIN near the top.

A deadline, payout or link looks wrong

Please email us the settlement name. We check every report against the official settlement website and court records and fix it quickly.

Can you add a settlement I found?

Yes, send us the official settlement website. We add settlements after verifying them.

Subscriptions

How do I cancel Claim Pro?

Open iOS Settings › tap your name › Subscriptions › Claim › Cancel Subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app doesn't cancel the subscription.

How do I restore my purchase on a new iPhone?

Open Claim › Profile › Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you subscribed with.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Notifications

I'm not getting deadline reminders

Check iOS Settings › Notifications › Claim and make sure notifications are allowed. Reminders are for settlements in your To claim list that you haven't filed yet.

Your data

Your answers, claims and receipts are stored on your iPhone. To erase them, open Profile › Delete account, or delete the app. See our Privacy Policy for details.
